  • Glucosamine Hcl*- A building block of cartilage materials. As one of chondroprotectants, glucosamine
      • is effective both as a raw material for body to produce cartilage materials and as a stimulus for cartilage component synthesis. Studies in Europe concluded that glucosamine causes  significant reduction in joint pain, tenderness, and swelling.
      • Chondroitin- It has benefits like glucosamine. Its benefits include being a major component of cartilage and as an inhibitor of cartilage-destructive enzymes.
  • Vitamin C- It has anti-oxidant properties. As an anti-oxidant vitamin C helps to protect tissues
      • against damages from free radicals. Vitamin C is also essential in production of cartilage materials.
  • Yucca-   A dessert plant. It has anti-inflammatory properties. Traditional uses includes all sorts

    There are many discussions and debate as to which is better, glucosamine in the “Hcl” form or the “Sulfate” form. Although one can argue from both sides KR Natural’s view is as follows. The “Sulfate” part of glucosamine sulfate is about 100 times as big as the “Hcl” part. Hence, in a given amount of glucosamine Hcl or glucosamine sulfate, one would derive more of glucosamine which is ultimately the nutrients one is trying to obtain. We feel that animals would get more glucosamine from glucosamine Hcl and therefore more benefits from it.
